Happy August & Happy Monday!
I was musing about time and it's effects our thoughts and actions. I do enjoy summer the most and long for 2 months of July. When August arrives, the sunlight is diminishing on the side of the planet I live on.
Right! I live on a planet that has been a part of a whole universe that time doesn't apply to; or does it?!
I love to ask these "koans" because it helps clean the mind of the attachment of time and the dreaded word deadline.
As a mostly energetic being (only 1/5 physical) I am as timeless as the Universe and free to release suffering, even the minor suffering of keeping up with schedules, days of the week, months, years...you get the idea?
I choose to take time today to enjoy the first Monday Of August 2016. I may not see another, so i will enjoy the bittersweetness of moving through the day and Month of August with mindful appreciation. To be present is to be at one's highest potential.
Even now as I write this contemplative Blog, in the background I can hear my College Junior enjoying cartoons on one of her last lazy days of summer break at home. That fills me with joy. To just be and enjoy! That is the best use of time.

Refresh Your Monday with Meditation
Today happens to be a Monday, if you have to pay attention to time.
Today was a Monday that I got intuition about last Thursday. "Make space for helping some one in need Monday".
Well, the mind moving to and fro through time is quite a lovely human/superhuman experience. Sure enough, I made the space for the task to be there from a place of love and mindfulness. I fulfilled the task and set course from the view point of going with the flow. Listening to your inner voice gets easier with meditation. You just get better at listening. Listening. Listening. Listening to breath...and the power of letting go.
We are mostly energy, only 1/5 physical. That 1/5 physical is miraculous. Tapping into the rest of your energetic bodies makes the physical experience vastly expanded and calm. All you need is 3 minutes a day to start. Working to 20 minutes is a miraculous practice.
You just need to be willing. The rest will come to you. Finding a mindfulness practice makes your "being here now" more calm, joy filled and peaceful.
You have the ability; everyone does. There are"no others". Make your peace anytime with a daily meditation practice. Monday is a perfect day to let go of old thinking, and take time to feel good watching your breath and being still.
Enjoy the path, you're not walking alone.
